Rogue is a group of cannabis growers, consumers, and experts who are all driven to ensure that every strain grown on the rogue farm, reaches its’ genetic potential.

The company was co-founded by John Fayed and Matt Tkachyk, both of whom grew up on grain farms in Southern Manitoba. The cannabis specific knowledge comes from Grant Wittevrongel, who has over 30 years of experience growing cannabis on a commercial scale, with a focus on growing Landrace Strains that he and others within his Legacy network accumulated during their travels to different region of the world.

The common denominator among us is that we all like the idea of waking up in the morning and growing plants. It’s not a chore, it’s a privilege and our excitement is amplified by the fact that we get to grow unique, Landrace Strains, and do so in the most natural way, under the Prairie Sun.

Our job isn’t finished when the product leaves our door. Our process starts with a plant and ends with the customer which means our experienced sales team will continually work with our retail partners to ensure that staff and customers have a thorough understanding of the products we bring to market and collect valuable feedback. 

Farming is too much work for anyone who doesn’t enjoy doing it, so the passion we bring isn’t just an asset to our process, it’s a requirement.
